Description
For people who want to learn Spanish in a communicative and participative way, in homogeneous groups with a maximum of 4 participants.
If you learn Spanish with 3 other students, you can improve your Spanish skills in a short time. These are customized courses based on your personal goals and learning pace.
We offer you a flexible and active methodology: Humboldt teachers do not give lectures. They motivate, accompany and help you to make your Spanish course successful.
You have the opportunity attend the course in person or online. Choose the format that suits your needs!

Target
Classes are dynamic and communicative, with special emphasis on oral expression and understanding of the participants.
We want to broaden your communication skills in Spanish and practice the 5 most important language elements: speaking, reading, writing, understanding and communicating.
Dates and Schedule (2019)
Date: Every Monday there are new courses for all levels
Bank holidays: January 1st – 6th, 2019 and April 22nd; 1st of May; June 10 and 24; 15th of August; September 11th and 24th; 12th of October; 1st of November; 6th and 8th December
Christmas: from 23rd December to 31st December
Important: Humboldt reserves the right to postpone courses or to reduce the total number of lessons if the number of participants does not reach the minimum required.
Schedule: Intensive courses have 15 hours per week + 1.5 hours per day guided self-study.

The registration fee at the school is 35 €

Free placement test
*The placement test can be done online (you must register on campus)
The oral test can be done by phone or at school.
Payment:
When booking online, the entire course or a deposit of € 150 can be paid. When booking by e-mail a deposit of € 150 (please attach a copy of the proof of payment) is required. The deposit is part of the total price of the course deducted from your bill.
Note:
If we can not form a group of your level for the dates you have chosen, we will offer you 50% of the group lessons as private lessons.
Alternatively, you may request a refund of the amount paid.
The school refunds the amount paid only in the event that it can not offer the contractually agreed course.
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellation of the course / accommodation more than two weeks before the beginning: 150 Euro.
- Cancellation of the course / accommodation less than two weeks before the beginning of the course: 50% of the course fees / accommodation costs will be charged.
- There is no refund after the start of the course / arrival date at the accommodation.

Do I need a visa?
People from certain countries need a visa to travel to Barcelona. If you are from the EU you do not require a visa. Students from visa-requiring countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Colombia, China, etc should contact their embassy for more information, or check the website www.exteriores.gob.es
Where is the post office?
To send a letter you can either post it from the yellow letter boxes in the street or from a post office: Oficina de correos (Post office): the main post office, la Oficina Central de Correos, is in Placa Antoni Lopez (at the bottom end of Via Laietana) and the nearest to the school is in Carrer dels Alts Forns, 65, 08038 Barcelona. For the nearest to your neighbourhood, please contact Correos (+34 902 197 297).
